Sosola Sola has an odd name for a Miqo'te, though quite the normal name for a Lalafell. Sosola was adopted young by a Dunesfolk couple after her parents passed away during an earthquake on the island of Koshu. Shortly after being adopted, he parents brought her to Ul'dah, renaming her to Sosola Sola following their customs.As a child, Sosola was an active girl. She would run through the streets and alleys around Sapphire Avenue, as her parents were active merchants. She fell in love with watching the craftsmen of the city, learning to weave before her tenth summer.Sosola found magic shortly after finding weaving, spending many days in the Arrzaneth Ossuary listening to the stories and theories of the Thaumaturges before eventually accepting an apprenticeship and induction into the guild.She discovered her Hingan heritage around the time she was accepted as an apprentice, and set a goal that she would one day return to her birth parents' home, and set out adventuring to find her way once her teacher acknowledged her independence. Her parents both passed away at comfortable ages in the few years following her independence, leaving a newly adult Sosola to fend for herself.In her early twenties, Sosola met her mentor, a famed Hingashi swordsman who had traveled to Eorzea to escape troubles in the Ruby Sea. She learned many things from her mentor, including the art of the sword and the discovery of tea. She trained and traveled with her mentor, eventually more close friend and confidante than teacher, until his passing roughly ten years later.Sosola currently pays her bills through bard and DJ work, and runs Onsen Usagi, an onsen in her home of Hingashi that is catered to visitors of Kugane and situated within one of the districts of Shirogane.Random facts:
* Sosola has vitiligo, a T-cell mediated autoimmune disease in which the immune system destroys melanocytes.
